Before I start the post, just wanted to share this with y'all. I swear I fell in love haha. The main singer was just too cute haha.
So today I sent in all my university applications.
Honestly, it was kind of scary pressing the submit button. Sort of like sealing the deal but whatever it is, a new phase in life is heading my way.
I still can't believe it though... Entering university and all. It still feels so surreal.
If I end up in NUS though, I really wanna stay in the halls. I mean, what is uni without experiencing hall life? It'll just be JC all over again. I guess I'm just that kind of person who likes meeting new people? I don't know. I just want to experience new things. Good or bad, it's better than regretting and thinking of all the "what ifs". Sighh, but I gotta convince my parents.
I have always loved films. I may not be the best at inferring all the deep underlying meanings behind them but I genuinely love films. Especially those by Jubilee and Wong Fu. They make such great films that just tug on your heartstrings and bring out emotions you thought you never had. Probably that's why I really want to get into Comm studies. I mean, I really want to be able to invoke such emotions into people. Make them feel things. But oh wells, it's not in my hands anymore haha. Up to fate.
So till next time, here's a recent video which I watched and I think it's super worth watching.<3
Love really allows us to be so brave... or forces us to be brave so to say. The women was so strong and I really wouldn't have any idea how I would cope if I were her heh... Enjoy.

Good Enough
*Just to warn you guys, no I'm not sad or anything while writing this blog post. It's just a random thought I had. (:*
I often find myself asking why I blog...
I have so many friends who blog, and from seeing their blogs, I guess each of them has their own style. I don't really know how to put it in words but I'll do my best.
Some blog to share experiences.
Some blog to share their talent, say poetry, writing, photos...
Some blog to share their thoughts on certain situations.
But all in all, I find that their standard of English is way beyond mine. Maybe that's why my GP sucks huh...
When I'm reading their blogs, I can't help but think how deep they are. And I often wonder to myself: "Why can't I be like them? Why can't I write like that?".
That's probably why I hide behind the lyrics of the songs I post. You could say that they are emotions I feel but I have no idea how to put them in words.
But I guess we're all different in our own ways huh... and I'm just not as good as them when it comes to language.
I feel as if when I blog, people can read it and listen as if I'm the one talking heh... But that's just my style of writing. I don't really actually "Ed Sheeran" my way of talking if you get what I mean. Whatever that's in my mind just comes out and I really don't bother paraphrasing my words. Maybe that's why after I blog, I always feel at ease even though I'm showing my rawest self.
For me, I'm usually emotional when I blog. Be it happy or sad.
As Alex once said, I'm a very "extreme" person. So the emotions I feel are the same way as well I guess. But whatever it is, this has always been my channel to vent, for me to let go. I'm not the kind to tell people how I feel. Or at least not face to face. Or when I'm feeling vulnerable. So blogging has all along been my remedy.
I know, some of you may ask how is this different from texting a friend?
Well, to be honest, I can't give you a direct answer. I guess maybe a part of me wants to see who actually bothers to find out when I'm upset and who will actually bother reading such a lengthy post just to find out the truest of my emotions. But that's just a thought.
Whatever it is, this blog will be here for a long time(:
Till next time... Do enjoy this song. The lyrics really touched me.

Am I still not good enough
Am I still not worth that much
I'm sorry for the way my life turned out
Sorry for the smile I'm wearing now
Guess I'm still not good enough

So how's your result?
This will probably be the last few times that I hear this question.
Alright I shall be upright and honest with you guys. No, I am not satisfied with my results. But before you guys go around thinking that I did badly, no I did not. Okay well, it's not good and it's not bad so that's kind of my dilemma.
I've always wanted to be part of the IT/Media industry so I guess it kind of limits my options.
I've visited NTU and SMU open houses over the weekend and I must admit it has given me quite some insights. Especially for SMU. The talk on SIS totally bought me over. The career prospects are great and not to mention the flexibility that SMU gives. Though to be very honest I'm afraid I might not be able to cope in there. They mentioned that SIS is the most time-consuming course in the whole of Singapore and not just that, it requires a lot of motivation and effort.
That being said brings me back to when we just entered JC and were picking our courses. I really wanted to take geography because I've always found it very interesting. However before even entering JC, people were already warning me about geography... That it was going to be really difficult, the workload is crazy and your brain will probably explode from all the memorising that you have to do. Because of such comments, I avoided taking that subject totally and opted to take PCMe which was the safest route, even though I knew that I never did well in Physics.
Because of that decision, I suffered the whole 2 years in JC. I sucked at Physics, big time. And honestly speaking, I have no idea how I even managed to pass it for my As. Physics was the subject that pulled me down like crazy. My Math and Chem did well because of the amount of hard work I put into it.
So you see what I mean? I'm afraid that I might make a similar choice in university and regret it again. Interest to me plays a huge role. When I'm interested in a subject, I will go all out and make sure that I'm one of the better ones at it. That is why this time round, I'm making my absolute best to make sure that I pick the right course. Hopefully all goes well.
Okay enough about results and university admissions, the past week was kind of crazy.
Here's a summary(:
Monday - Results Day
Tuesday - Research on all the university courses
Wednesday - Dinner with Alex and Gladys
Thursday - Research on application procedures
Friday - DANCE (Gin's class) *side note: her clas was asdfghjkl awesome but omg so not beginner level haha, but I'm totally in love with her dance style!*
Saturday - NTU open house with Hua Chen and dinner/llao llao with Carmen
Sunday - SMU open house alone but last minute SIS and Accountancy talks with WJ
So yeah it was pretty hectic.
Alex also introduced to me this new book which I'm going to start on soon.
And I must say, when I went to NTU, everywhere I turned, there was someone I know haha. And SRJCians were everywhere.
But in SMU, I hardly met anyone. I wonder why...
Anyway, before entering university, I really want to get my driving license and hopefully (cross my fingers) go clubbing for the first time. Thing is, got no one to go with haha! Oh wells, we'll see.
So recently I found so many new songs that I absolutely love and I couldn't choose which one to share with you guys, so I decided to just randomly picked one(:
Her voice is ridiculously good!
Till next time (:
